Aisha Yesufu, has said that President Bola Tinubu has already lost the 2027 presidential election because the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has over 200 million supporters across Nigeria
Speaking on the popular Channels Television programme, Politics Today on Thursday, she explained that Tinubu is looking for state governors to make him appear as if he has power.
She said though the All Progressives Congress, APC, currently has about 30 state governors and can outspend the ADC, but ADC will win.
Hear her: “The ADC is not mincing words that when it comes to money, the APC can outspend the ADC; definitely they can outspend us because they have our coffers, our national wealth, at their disposal to do whatever it is that they’re going to do with it.
“The one thing that I can tell you is that they cannot out passion us. They have 30 governors, but we have over 200 and something million Nigerians, minus the 30 governors and a few of the supporters that they have.”
According to her, President Tinubu has already lost 2027 presidential election because he is looking for governors that will not help him.
“Bola Tinubu has already lost; that’s why he is looking for governors that he will put together to have an illusion of power.
Sighting the example of The People Democratic Party who once had more than 20 governors, she said:
“Once upon a time, I think PDP had 20-something governors; it didn’t stop them from losing the election when it was time for them to lose.
“You could see the fact that they don’t have the people when they were doing the registration and nobody was interested, nobody cared to visit their website. But you can see with the ADC the kind of passion it has gathered.”
