Premier League west London club, Chelsea, have confirmed the signing of two promising youngsters, Riley Ebho and Jashayde Greenwood, from Premier League rivals West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers respectively, bolstering their Under-18s squad.

The Blues disclosed this in a post on their website on Monday, that Riley Ebho and Jashayde Greenwood have signed scholarship contracts with the club’s Under-18s and that both players will join Hassan Sulaiman’s squad, who have made a strong start to the new campaign in the Under-18 Premier League.

The statement reads: “Chelsea is pleased to confirm the addition of two new players to our Under-18s after Riley Ebho and Jashayde Greenwood signed scholarship terms with the Blues,”

Ebho, a talented right-back, joins Chelsea from West Ham United. The 16-year-old impressed last season for West Ham’s Under-18s, despite still being a schoolboy.

Greenwood arrives from Wolverhampton Wanderers and has already featured in the Under-18 Premier League for Chelsea.

Chelsea U18s will be in action this Saturday for a London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
