Despite US Threat, Terrorists Kidnap Kebbi Girls Secondary Students Again

Terrorists have reportedly attacked Maga Comprehensive Girls’ Secondary School in Kebbi State, Nigeria.

This incident which took place early hour of Monday morning, involved the abduction of many female students and the vice principal of the school, Hassan Yakubu who was killed in the process of rescuing the students

The attack occurred around 5:52 a.m. while students were preparing for morning routines.

The number of students kidnapped remains unclear, as authorities have not provided official details.

A resident, Murjanatu Hassan Gishiri, who confirmed the incident, said the assailants invaded the school unhindered, unleashing terror and throwing the community into trauma

According to report, a school guard was also injured during the incident.

The gunmen invaded the school compound, launching their assault with sporadic gunfire, leaving a trail of fear and chaos.

Residents are urging the Federal and State governments to take urgent action to rescue the girls, as the terrorists are believed to still be in the area.

This incident highlights the ongoing security challenges in Nigeria, particularly in the northern regions, where schools have been targeted by terrorists and bandits in recent times.
