The Department of State Services, DSS, has on Monday taken the Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) back to Kuje Correctional Central after his first release.
DSS officials took him after he left Kuje Prison, following the completion of his bail conditions.

“He has been released. He perfected his bail conditions and was released this afternoon,” one official said.
Also, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has clarified that it did not re-arrest Malami.
“We didn’t pick him up after he was released,” EFCC spokesman Dele Oyewale, said,
However, a video obtained by a Punch correspondent, showed that Malami was led to a black vehicle immediately after leaving the correctional centre.

It was alleged that arms were discovered at his Kebbi country home by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) during a search.
Justice Emeka Nwite of Abuja Federal High Court on Wednesday granted Malami, his wife and his son bail in the sum of N500 million each, with strict conditions with each to produce two sureties with verifiable landed property within Asokoro, Maitama, or Gwarimpa, deposit property documents with the court, and submit affidavits of means.
