The draw for this season’s FA Cup quarter-final have been confirmed and the standout tie will see Manchester City host Liverpool.
Manchester City booked their place in the quarter-final stage of this season’s FA Cup with a great 3-1 win over Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.
They will host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium across the weekend of April 4th and 5th. The match will be a tough fixture for Pep Guardiola’s side.
City’s clash with Liverpool comes amidst a run of fixtures that could be season-defining for City.
Arsenal are off to second-tier Southampton and Chelsea welcome third-tier Port Vale to Stamford Bridge in draws that will be welcomed by Mikel Arteta and Liam Rosenior.
Leeds await the winners of the West Ham vs Brentford fifth round fixture.
The quarter-final games will be played on the weekend of April 4/5, while the semi-finals have been scheduled for April 25.
