All 20 living hostages released by Hamas on Monday morning have returned home, the Israeli military said, as the first phase of a cease-fire deal takes effect in hopes of ending the two-year-old war.
The hostages returned to Israel in two groups, the first a group of seven followed by a group of 13.
The hostages have been identified as Omri Miran, 48, Guy Giloa Dalal, 24, Ziv Berman, 28, Gali Berman, 28, Eitan Avraham Mor, 25, Alon Ohel, 24, Sgt. Matan Angrest, 22, Rom Braslavski, 21, Avinatan Or, 32, Yosef Haim Ohana, 25, Maxim Harkin, 37, Matan Zangauker, 25, Elkana Bohbot, 36, Bar Abraham Kupershtein, 23, Eitan Horn 39, Ariel Cunio, 28, David Cunio, 35, Evyatar David, 24, and Segev Kalfon, 27.
“There are no more living Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity,” the IDF said in statement.
