The result of mock test for 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been released.
This was disclosed by the board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, who said that candidates should check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number they registered with for the 2026 UTME.
In the exercise which was conducted across the 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across Nigeria, Benjamin said that 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination but only 152,586 successfully sat for the test.
Conducted on March 28, 2026 more than 20 centres faced technical issues during the exercise and all have been delisted by the board.
As the main UTME examination will commence on April 16, Benjamin cautioned candidates to beware of people claiming they could manipulate or inflate UTME scores.
He explained that such claims are false and criminal, candidates found engaging in such activities risk having their registration cancelled or their results withdrawn.
