Police officers at the venue of the protest against demolitions in some parts of Lagos State have released tear gas to scattered gathered demonstrators at the Lagos State House of Assembly complex, Alausa, Ikeja, on Wednesday.

The protesters converged at the assembly complex to demand an end to forced evictions and the demolition of homes in communities across the state.
