The Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, Hon. Andrew Ogunsakin, has said that processes have commenced to situate Driver’s License Office in Okitipupa.

He made this known during the Security and Intelligence Meeting held at the council secretariat earlier today.

In the meeting, Ogunsakin said that the move is one of the giant steps of the current administration to ease the stress residents are facing in accessing driver’s license services.

He referred to as burdensome, the present situation whereby residents have to travel long distance in order to renew their licence.

“We have already begun the necessary processes with the relevant authorities to ensure that a Driver’s License Office is brought to Okitipupa. This facility will save our people time, energy, and resources, while also bringing essential government services closer to them,” the Chairman assured.

The initiative according to him, is a testament of his administration’s commitment to infrastructural and institutional development that will help ensure that residents of Okitipupa enjoy equal access to services as those in other parts of the state.
