Award- wining Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted his wife, Chioma, with a brand-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz G580 EQ SUV, saying, only the best is good for his Lady.
The luxury SUV, which recently entered the market, is valued at over $150,000 (₦240 million) depending on specifications. The 2025 model contains a new design and electric options that represent a significant upgrade from previous versions.
Davido, in a video posted on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, was seen hyping the moment as he picked up the vehicle, explaining how he traded in a previous model and added more funds to secure the latest release.
“First of all, we had to take the one I got, then obviously add more money to get the new one.”
Presenting the G-Wagon to Chioma, he described the gesture as his way of giving her “only the best”.
Davido’s wife was visibly delighted to receive the car coming months after the couple’s high-profile white wedding in Miami on August 10, 2025.
The wedding which cost about $3.7 million and attracted notable figures from politics, business and entertainment lasted in a series of three ceremonies.
