Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has charged the son of his chief of staff and his beloved wife to avoid the pressure of Social media in their union.
Sanwo-Olu made this admonition on Saturday at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International Headquarters Annex, Wuye in Abuja during the holy matrimony between the son of his chief of staff, Samuel Ayinde and his heartthrob, Oreoluwa Adesokan.

Speaking during the event, Sanwo-Olu enjoined the couple to live as one with understanding and constant renovation of their union so as to live long and enjoy marital bliss. He also prayed with them that “the pressure of social media will not split their union”.
Addressing the congregation, Sanwo-Olu emphasized the need for every couple (old and new) to renovate their union because it brings back old memories in marriages with new wine.
This according to the governor, is the reason for the freshness in marriages including his 33 years union with his beloved wife and others who are older than him in the institution

In a message titled: “building a strong home”, the Senior Regional Overseer of the church, Pastor Edwin Etomi told the couple that one of the greatest gifts of God for mankind is the gift of marriage and so, building it takes process and time.
Taking his message from Psalm 127:1,he explained that the building block of marriage involves laying solid foundation, good communication, forgiveness, patience, submissiveness, love and deliberate ignorance to some things at home by the two parties for peace to reign,
“Forgiveness is another building block of marriage. You can disagree as husband and wife but do not disconnect,” he warned the couple.

He told the couple that submissiveness in marriage does not mean that one is inferior to the other but rather a mark of strength that is meant to make marriage strong and stand the test of time.
He also used the occasion of the sermon to specially welcome Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos State, the representative of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Mrs Charity Oluwatoyin, Minister of Blue Economy, Honourable Adegboyega Oyetola and Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun to Mountain of fire and Miracles Ministries.

Praying for the couple, Assistant General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan showered blessings of protection, divine guidance and provision upon the couple.
Other dignitaries at the event include: the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, Adejoke-Orelope-Adefulire, Hon. Abiodun Faleke, Bishop of Chapel of Christ the Light Church, Rev Dele Ajayi and other anointed ministers of God and traditional rulers.
