Aloy Ejimakor, the former lawyer of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has announced that Kanu will appeal against the recently delivered judgment by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Ejimakor disclosed this while speaking to reporters shortly after the judgment in Abuja.
Ejimakor said Kanu would appeal the judgment. “We are heading to appeal,” he said.
Kanu was sentenced to life imprisonment on counts one, two, four, five, and six, a 20-year jail term on count three with no option of fine, and five years on count seven with no option of fine. with sentences to run concurrently.
