Epic Fashion Week 2026, a structured ecosystem designed to support emerging designers through visibility, industry access, sustainable fashion and innovation within the creative industry has been inaugurated in Lagos.

The two-day event, organised by Fashions Finest Africa, will take place on May 23 and 24 at The Podium.
It is expected to bring together designers, buyers, investors, media professionals, and fashion enthusiasts.

According to the founder of Fashions Finest Africa, Sola Oyebade, the initiative was created to provide emerging designers with opportunities for growth and global relevance beyond runway exposure.
“Epic Fashion Week was created to give emerging designers more than visibility. It is about building a real ecosystem where talent can grow, be seen, and connect to opportunities that move them forward. African fashion has always had creativity; what we are doing is building the structure that helps it scale globally and be taken seriously at every level,” he said
Attendance at the event will be free, a move aimed at increasing participation and making the platform more accessible to fashion enthusiasts and emerging creatives across the industry.
The programme has been positioned for talent development, industry engagement, and sustainable growth within Africa’s rapidly expanding fashion sector.

Among others, Epic Fashion Week 2026 is expected to serve as a meeting point for creativity, commerce, and conscious design while helping shape the future of the industry through access, structure, and innovation.
