As the people of Osun State decide today who will supervise the affairs of the state in the next four years, the all Progressives Congress and Accord Party have been accused of engaging in vote-buying across Osun State.

They have been accused of bribing agents between N10,000 and N20,000 ahead of the governorship election.
As narrated by Punch report, some voters, the parties also collected the account numbers of thousands of voters a week before the election, with plans to credit them after voting.

Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party is being challenged by Bola Oyebamiji of the APC, Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress and nine other contestants.
The report revealed that both Accord and the APC have started distributing cash between Monday and Tuesday among the total of 1,906,390 voters revealed by INEC to have collected their Permanent Voter Cards and are expected to participate in the election.

The two parties have also engaged in food distributions and cash gifts across the state with beneficiaries made to swear an oath to vote for the candidate of the party providing the items.
