Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew, the fake Director General, Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC), has been arrested in Osun State.

Adeniyi was nabbed by the Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) shortly after a Federal High Court in Abuja issued a bench warrant for his arrest over his failure to appear in court for his arraignment.
His arrest from his hideout in Osun was announced on Tuesday by Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Okokon Iniedu.
Earlier on Tuesday, Judge Mohammed Umar issued the warrant for Adeniyi’s arrest following an oral application by the prosecution lawyer, Wisdom Madaki.
The police filed an eight-count charge against Adeniyi on 27 November last year, accusing him of conspiracy, forgery and impersonation regarding the operation of the ‘fake’ PFIPC.
As none of the suspects were available in court when the case was called, Madaki then applied to the court to issue a bench warrant for Adeyemi’s arrest following his absence.
In reaction, Adeyemi’s lawyer, Genesis Francis, told the court that his client feared for his life and had written a letter to President Bola Tinubu.

Adding that his client Adeyemi wants to stay alive for his trial, the judge responded that the court would “help him to stay alive.”
Justice Umar thereafter ordered all security agencies to arrest Adeyemi anywhere he is sighted and the case was adjourned to September. 30 for arraignment.
